Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University’s January examination timetable will be available on 23 December 2016.

The timetable can only be compiled once all the December examinations have been completed to ensure that there are no clashes between the December module re-examinations and the January examinations.

As a result of the prolonged interruptions caused by the #FeesMustFall student protests from mid-September to late October, NMMU students were given the option of writing in either November-December 2016 or in January 2017, or a combination of both.

Both the January examinations and November/December re-examinations will be held from 9 to 24 January.

As soon as the results are finalised, the University will identify all candidates who qualify for re-examinations so that it can compile a clash-free timetable for all re-examinations and first-time January examination candidates.

Those students who wrote their examinations this year as well as students who completed continuous assessment projects and assignments will receive their provisional results on the afternoon of 21 December.

Results will be shared via text messages and will also be available on the NMMU website, the student portal and the ITS iEnabler.

Students are expected to take responsibility in obtaining their examination results, especially to ascertain if a special or re-examination has been awarded.
